Anthony Rizzo belted a home run in the series opener and also delivered a big hit in Game 2. New York is going to need Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton to start hitting some long balls, and they are capable of doing that at home.
Gerrit Cole will be on the mound for the Yankees, and he has had a dominant season in 2022. Cole will give the Yankees a shot, but the bullpen is also going to have to do its job in this one.
Astros Cruise to Another Win
The starting pitching matchup does seem to favor the Yankees in this game, but that’s about the only advantage that they have. Gerrit Cole will give the Yankees a chance in this game, but he can’t win this game on his own.
Houston just continues to come up with clutch hits when needed, and that pitching staff is always up for the challenge in the playoffs. This will be the closest game of the series up to this point, but the overall result is going to end up being the exact same.
