It was deja vu for the New York Mets last night in Kansas City. The 4-1 loss to the Royals brought flashbacks of the 2015 World Series when the Mets blew leads in all four of KC's wins. It was also New York's fourth loss in five games following an eight-game winning streak and dropped the Mets two games behind the Phillies and Cubs for the final NL wild card spot. The Mets (62-60) and Royals (44-78) will play the second game of their series tonight at Kauffman Stadium with Jacob deGrom (7-7, 2.68) taking the mound for New York against Kansas City's Jakob Junis (8-10, 4.80).
