USFL Week 10 Betting Preview

Week 10 of the USFL season is set to begin on Saturday, and there are four games taking place this weekend. This is the final week of the regular season, and there are a few postseason spots that are still up for grabs.

You should expect plenty of great matchups this weekend, as most of the teams in the league will have something to play for. Here is a look at all four of the games taking place, and a Dunkel pick and prediction for each matchup.

Pittsburgh Maulers at New Jersey Generals

A pair of 3-6 teams are set to meet up in New Jersey on Saturday as the Generals host the Pittsburgh Maulers in a big game. Even at just 3-6, both teams can still win the North Division title by ending the year with a win and then getting a little bit of help. 

Pittsburgh is facing a huge task in this game, as the Generals are coming into this game with a ton of offensive momentum. It’s hard to see the Maulers scoring enough points to win this game, and it could get out of hand in a hurry. 

The Generals are 3.5-point betting favorites, and they are going to roll to a double-digit win in this game. 

Birmingham Stallions at Memphis Showboats

Birmingham enters Week 10 as the only team to have clinched a playoff spot, but this team still has more to play for. The Stallions can win the South Division with a win in Week 10, but they are playing a Memphis team that is facing a must-win situation. 

Memphis has really been struggling to score points of late, and that’s not going to present a good matchup with Birmingham. The Showboats can keep this game close for a half, but Birmingham is going to simply outscore Memphis to win the division crown. 

Take the Birmingham Stallions -3.5 as they roll to a win by double-digits.

New Orleans Breakers at Houston Gamblers

The 6-3 New Orleans Breakers are on the road in Houston in Week 10 for a battle with the 5-4 Gamblers. Both teams are needing a win to secure a playoff spot, and it should shape up to be one of the best games of the weekend. 

Both teams have proven that they can score points in a hurry this season, but New Orleans is the much better defensive team. Houston will be doing what it can to keep postseason hopes alive, but they just won’t be able to score points. 

Take the Breakers at -3.5, as they are able to win by more than a touchdown in this game. 

Philadelphia Stars at Michigan Panthers

The Philadelphia Stars are in a position to win the North Division heading into Week 10, despite being just 4-5 on the year. Michigan can still sneak into the playoffs with a win, and this line is set as a Pickem on Sunday. 

Philadelphia is a team that is loaded with offensive weapons, but the defense has really let the team down this season. Michigan has started to come on a bit of late, and they feature a rushing attack that can get things done. 

Playing at home will give the Panthers a slight advantage in this one, and taking them to win the game outright is the way to go.
