Having a low score is going to be crucial here to withstand multiple rounds. In fact, all seven events hosted at this course have had scores of 16-under or better.
As mentioned above, many of the top names will not be playing in this event. So this could be anyone's victory if they are able to make putts and post high-scoring rounds.

Sam Burns (-27.565) and Will Zalatoris (-34.115) make a great pair of golfers to watch. Burns enters this event as the favorite, while Zalatoris is in a three-way tie for the second favorite.
Burns has a Valspar Championship and eight top 10 finishes on the season. Following his 18th place after the Tour Championship, he has played well leading up to this point.
Zalatoris has had a great season and now a great opportunity to land another win. Since the field is not heavy with top players, he could steal a win.

Golfers That Could Win
Charley Hoffman (-35.452), though a potential long shot, offers some of the best value. The 44-year-old has put up five top 10 finishes last season, with one of them being a second-place finish at the Valero Texas Open. Hoffman also averages 1.08 strokes per round in his last ten rounds.
Sung-jae Im (-29.340) recent success makes him another top pick here. While playing at this location, he has put up 1.31 strokes per round over the last ten rounds. He is able to strike heavily off the tee and is great at strokes gained stats.
Potential Winning Pick
Sergio Garcia (-34.233) is coming off an impressive performance at the Ryder Cup. In fact, he put up a 3-1 record against Team USA even though Team Europe lost 19-9.
Coming into this event, he is arguably the most dangerous with how well he is playing. Then again, he also happens to be the defending champion with an average of 3.47 strokes per round in his last four rounds.
Prop Plays
Top 20 Finish: Sam Burns (-155)
Burns put together a banner season on Tour last year with a win at the Valspar and eight Top-10 finishes.
He also finished the season strong with four Top-25 finishes that included an 18th-place finish at the Tour Championship.
One tournament he did not play well in was Sanderson Farms where he failed to make the cut after a second-round 74.
Rated No. 1 in this week’s Dunkel Index, we’ll temper our expectations a bit for Burns (-155) given his history here and take him to finish in the Top 20.
Top 20 Finish: Sung-Jae Im (-135)
Im certainly knows how to shoot low scores. In fact, the 23-year-old South Korean broke the 21-year-old Tour record for most birdies last year that was set by Steve Flesch in 2000.
Overall, he established the new mark of 498 birdies following the Tour Championship. Winner of the 2020 Honda Classic, Im made several runs at a second Tour title last year only to come up a bit short.
He also came close at this tournament back in 2019 when he lost in a playoff to Sebastian Munoz.
Rated No. 2 in this week’s Dunkel Index, we’ll also take Im (-135) to be in contention on Sunday and finish in the Top 20.
Top 20 Finish: Corey Conners (-135)
The Canadian had a break out season last year and seemed to play his best in the big tournaments. He finished in the Top 20 in three of the four majors – only missing the cut at the US Open – and took seventh-place at the Players Championship.
He also did well enough in the smaller tournaments to collect eight Top-10 finishes and 19 Top-25s in 30 tournaments. All of that helped him reach a career-high 32nd in the world rankings.
Rated No. 3 in this week’s Dunkel Index, we’ll take Conners (-135) to continue his improvement with another Top 20 finish.
