Betting Overview
New Hampshire Motor Speedway is what you call a paper clip track that looks just like it sounds. Many drivers over the years love this track in particular for how easy it is in comparison to others.
You can look at history to see just how dominant drivers like Jeff Gordon, Dale Earnhardt Jr., and even Jimmie Johnson have fared here. For the newer age drivers, you can see Kevin Harvick and Kurt Busch lead a new generation.
Head-to-Head Matchup to Watch
Both Chase Elliott (195.549) and Martin Truex Jr (196.676) make a compelling case to win here. For a head to head matchup, a slight edge could go to Elliott.
He has been the most consistent racer this season, especially over the last few months. Truex Jr. has solid performances at this track, but he is known to break out in paper clip tracks.

Drivers That Could Win
Martin Truex Jr. (196.676) has an excellent opportunity to get another win here. He won back in Phoenix, which is another similar track to compare to.
Truex Jr. was not the best driver to start out the race, but he eventually led the final 24 laps to get it done. For bettors, it might make sense to add him to your picks.
Ross Chastain (198.905) seems to be a step behind Chase Elliot when finishing races. In the Quaker State 400, Chastain was able to claim a second place finish and remain high in the Cul Series standings.
Potential Winning Pick
Chase Elliott (195.549) is coming off of another victory with his performance at Quaker State 400. This pushed him further in the Cup Series standings, where he remains number one overall.
For Elliott to go back to back victories, it would be an impressive feat. However, this is a track that he can confidently take over. Look for him to make a push for another win this Sunday.
Prop Pick
Head-To-Head Matchup: Kyle Busch (-115) OVER Joey Logano
It was another rough week for Busch at Atlanta where he finished 20th and marked the fourth straight week where he’d finished 20th or worse. Prior to that, the No. 18 car had been on a roll with a pair of 2nd place finishes and a 3rd in four races. Even with the slump, Busch ranks No. 1 in Fastest Laps Run (293) and No. 4 in Laps Led (399).
Logano has had similar frustrations the last two weeks with a 27th at Road America and 26th at Atlanta. The No. 22 car ranks No. 15 in Fastest Laps Run (119) and No. 12 in Laps Led (181).
With Busch rated No. 10 in this week’s Dunkel Index and Logano No. 20, both drivers will be looking for improvement this weekend, but take Busch (-115) to have the better day at New Hampshire.
