Atlanta Motor Speedway is a 1.54-mile quad-oval that rivals other superspeedway courses during the season. There are some tracks that come close in comparison, which makes this one unique.
The odds are fairly tight across the board, with some drivers gaining momentum at the right time. Last year, the Busch brothers had the one and two spots at the finish line.

Chase Elliott (195.549) and Ross Chastain (199.997) have some of the best momentum heading into this event. They are both at the top of the leaderboard for the Cup Series, with Elliot in first and Chastain in third.
Elliot has previous success here, coming in seventh last year. He might have the dye against Chastain, but he is coming off of a fourth-place finish at Road America.

Drivers That Could Win
Ryan Blaney (204.753) is one of the favorites to win here, especially after winning the spring race. He also has three top-five appearances at these events, making him pretty consistent entering this one. The only drawback is that he has led just five percent of the time overall, so he could potentially have a breakthrough.
Ross Chastain (199.997) is not far behind in the Cup Series rankings and needs to keep up the consistency so he can take over. He is one of the faster drivers out there, and this course suits him well.
Tyler Reddick (208.947) is coming off of a victory at Road America and deserves some attention after that performance. He has great momentum heading into this event, so he might be worth a look.

Chase Elliott (195.549) is currently the best driver in the Cup Series and has looked great since May. He has two victories on the season and recently three consecutive top 10 performances.
One of those victories came recently at the Ally 400, which boosted his point total. He is performing at a high level and needs to continue this streak if he wants to stay on top.

Head-To-Head Matchup: Denny Hamlin (-115) OVER Tyler Reddick
The up-and-down season for Hamlin continued last week with a 17th place finish at Road America. But the No. 11 car has also had a 1st at Charlotte and a 6th at Nashville in his last five starts. Hamlin ranks No. 6 in Laps Lead (288) and No. 10 in Quality Passes (948).
Reddick took the checkered flag at Road America for his first Cup Series win of the season. But the No. 8 car had failed to crack the Top 10 in the three previous races, including a 35th place finish at Sonoma. Reddick ranks No. 8 in Laps Lead (265) and No. 20 in Quality Passes (722).
With Hamlin rated No. 6 in this week’s Dunkel Index and Reddick No. 8, take the No. 11 car (-115) to bounce back at Atlanta and have the edge in this matchup.
