ZOZO Championship 2023 Betting Preview

The PGA Tour will head over to Japan this weekend for the annual ZOZO Championship. This event has been played every year since 2019, and both the Japan Golf Tour and the PGA Tour co-sanctioned this event.
There are still a handful of top players in the world who are going to be sitting this event out, but the field is pretty solid, considering this tournament is in Tokyo. Betting odds have been posted for the ZOZO Championship, and it’s time to start getting your bets in.

Big Names at the Top
Now that some of the best players in the world are getting back to action on the PGA Tour after the Ryder Cup, there will be familiar names among the group of betting favorites. Xander Schauffele is the big favorite at the 2023 ZOZO Championship, as he has odds listed at +700 to get the job done.
Schauffele is going to have some tough competition trying to track him down, especially when it comes to two golfers. Collin Morikawa has the second-best betting odds at +1100, and Sungjae Im is next on the list at +1400.
All three of these golfers have the ability to win any golf tournament that they enter, and that will be something to watch. It would be a dream for the organizers of this tournament to have all three betting favorites near the top of the leaderboard heading into Sunday.

You can’t just stop at the betting favorites when looking at the odds, and there is a loaded field heading to Tokyo for this event. The betting odds are still pretty tight beyond the betting favorites, but this is also when you are going to get the most value.

Davis Delivers in Tokyo
You are not going to see Cam Davis as one of the big betting favorites this weekend, but he is clearly a golfer who is on the rise on the PGA Tour. Davis has been in the mix in recent events, and he is going to battle it out with some top players this weekend.
The other two golfers to watch this weekend are Sahith Theegala and Collin Morikawa, but each of those golfers is going to come up a bit short. You should expect the leaderboard to be changing quite a bit at the ZOZO Championship, but one golfer will persevere.
