XFL Weekly Preview

We have reached the final week of the XFL regular season, and there is still plenty of stake in a few of the games. Two playoff spots are still up for grabs, and the results from this weekend will determine the matchups in the XFL Playoffs. 

The 2023 XFL season has been wildly successful, and these four games should put a nice bow on a terrific regular season. Here is a look at each of the four games set to take place, and a Dunkel pick and prediction for each game.

Orlando Guardians at St. Louis Battlehawks

The St. Louis Battlehawks are now in a must-win situation in the regular season finale, and they have the perfect opponents. St. Louis is an eight-point betting favorite as they host the 1-8 Orlando Guardians on Saturday morning. 

Orlando has been playing teams close of late, but they just haven’t proven that they can win a big game. The Guardians are facing a desperate and determined Battlehawks team in Week 10, and it’s going to be hard for Orlando to keep this game close at all. 

Bet the St. Louis Battlhehawks -8.0 as they roll to a blowout win over the Orlando Guardians to wrap up the regular season.

DC Defenders at San Antonio Brahmas

The 8-1 DC Defenders are three-point betting favorites on the road against the 3-6 San Antonio Brahmas. This might seem like a game that could get away from San Antonio in a hurry, but DC doesn’t have much reason to play their stars in this game. 

DC has already clinched the top seed in the XFL Playoffs, and they are going to be focusing on getting healthy. San Antonio can’t reach the postseason with a win, but they can end the year on a good note. 

The pick to make is to take the San Antonio Brahmas moneyline in this game, as they will pick up an outright win.

Houston Roughnecks at Arlington Renegades

The Houston Roughnecks are one-point underdogs on the road against the Arlington Renegades in Week 10. Houston has been hard to figure out this season, as the Roughnecks have been wildly inconsistent.

The one thing that Houston has been able to do is score, and that’s something that Arlington struggles with. Arlington has to try and win this game on defense, but they just won’t be able to get it done. 

Bet on the Houston Roughnecks moneyline as they pull off the small upset in this game.

Vegas Vipers at Seattle Sea Dragons

The final game of the weekend will take place in Seattle as the Sea Dragons look to sneak into the playoffs. Seattle will be hosting the Vegas Vipers in this matchup, and the home team is a big 8.5-point favorite in this game. 

Vegas has shown the ability to have big games on offense at times, but that defense continues to be a disaster. Seattle has to find a way to win this game, and that offense should be find some holes in the Vegas defense. 

Take the 8.5 points and bet on the Vegas Vipers in this game, but it will be the Seattle Sea Dragons that are able to pick up a win.
