XFL 2023 Weekly Preview

The NFL season might be over, but that doesn’t mean that football is done for the year. The XFL is making another attempt at providing some high-quality football entertainment, and it’s been a great start to the season.

There are four games set to take place this week, and each game will provide some good betting opportunities. Here is a look at each of the four games set to take place this week. 

Seattle Sea Dragons and Vegas Vipers

 A pair of 0-2 will kick things off this weekend as the Vegas Vipers are set to host the Seattle Sea Dragons. It’s been a rough start for both of these teams, but one team is going to have the opportunity to turn things around. 

The Sea Dragons are slim three-point betting favorites on the road, and they have actually played well up to this point. Seattle has lost their first two games by just six total points, and they are facing a Vegas team that struggles to score. 

Bet on the Sea Dragons, as they are able to win and cover the small spread in this one. 

St. Louis BattleHawks at DC Defenders

There are only three undefeated teams remaining in the XFL through two weeks, and two of those teams will meet up on Sunday. The DC Defenders are slim two-point betting favorites over the St. Louis BattleHawks, and this game should be a battle.

The BattleHawks have shown that they are capable of coming back in games, and they are facing a Washington D.C. team that hasn’t really been tested up to this point. This is going to be a good opportunity for St. Louis to put together a complete performance, and they should have little trouble covering the spread in this game. 

Orlando Guardians at Arlington Renegades

The Orlando Guardians are trying to pick up their first win of the season on Sunday as they travel to Texas to take on the Renegades. Arlington is a big 8.5-point favorite in this game, and just keeping it close might be a good first step for Orlando.

It’s been a miserable start to the season for the Guardians, and it’s hard to believe things will get any better this weekend. Arlington is trying to bounce back after a tough game last weekend, and this is the perfect matchup for them to get that done.

This game is not going to be close at any point, as the Renegades are simply too good for the Guardians. Bet on Arlington to win this game and to also cover the spread. 

San Antonio Brahmas at Houston Roughnecks

The Houston Roughnecks look to stay undefeated as they host the San Antonio Brahmas for an in-state rivalry game on Sunday. Houston is a four-point betting favorite in this game, and they have been the more impressive team this season.

This is going to be a high-scoring affair on Sunday, as both teams love to throw the football down the field. That is going to play right into the hands of the Roughnecks, and they are better offensively than the Brahmas. 

This game might be close for a while, but Houston is going to roll to a win and cover the spread.
