The road to the 108th Grey Cup will finally come to an end this weekend. You might be scratching your head when you look at this matchup. This is, in fact, a rematch of the 107th Grey Cup.

For the second straight year, it's the Winnipeg Blue Bombers facing off against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. This is the first time in ten years there has been a repeat Grey Cup match.

This year, Hamilton looks to rewrite the history books in front of their home crowd at Tim Hortons Field! In 2019, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers took this matchup by a score of 33-12!

Let's see what this classic has in store for us this weekend!

These two teams have faced off once this 2021 campaign during the season opener. The Blue Bombers took this matchup beating the Tiger-Cats by 13 points.

Zach Collaros started his outstanding 2021 campaign and lit up the Tiger-Cats secondary! The Blue Bombers' defense allowed six points and under 300 yards of total offense against Hamilton. If that isn't a massive red flag, then I don't know what is.

The Blue Bombers went through basically the whole season without its star running back, Andrew Harris. Harris played his first game since his knee injury in October, and he showed no signs of rust. He got his full workload and played as if he never got hurt!

The reigning Grey Cup MVP on 22 carries totaled over 100 yards and one touchdown! It does not get much better than that! The Blue Bombers get their best weapon back just in time for the most important game of the year!

Last weekend, the Tiger-Cats had a QB change in the second quarter. Jeremiah Masoli was struggling and subbed him out for Dane Evans. It's ok to switch mid-game, but this is the playoffs!

This is not the time to make huge changes on their roster! This team has had three different passers under center this season. It is a lot better to have one consistent player playing QB.

Nonetheless, Evans played a near-perfect game on Sunday! He had a 100% completion rate, 249 yards, and one touchdown. That's truly impressive, as he hopes to have the same success in the biggest game of his career.

Where this game will really come down to the wire is the defense. Both of these defenses can strike fear into the eyes of their opponent. Both defenses limit yards and points at a league-high rate (with Montreal being in between the two).

Winnipeg at Hamilton Prediction

As good as the Tiger-Cats defense is, they will not be able to stop this high-powered Winnipeg offense. The Blue Bombers are due for an explosive day, and they will not be stopped until they get what they deserve!
