Vancouver Canucks at Vegas Golden Knights Betting Preview/Prop Picks

For the second game in a row, it will be the Vancouver Canucks facing off against the Vegas Golden Knights in a crucial NHL game in the Western Conference. Vegas picked up a 3-2 win in Vancouver earlier this week and will be looking for another big win.

Vancouver has now lost three straight games and four of their last five overall. The Canucks come into Wednesday with 74 points on the year, and their hopes of reaching the playoffs are starting to fade.

Vegas has 82 points on the year, and they are trying to hang on to a playoff spot in the Western Conference. The Golden Knights have won five straight games, but they must continue winning to reach the postseason.

Offense Disappearing For Vancouver

The Golden Knights remain a high-powered offensive team as they are scoring 3.14 goals per game. Jonathan Marchessault leads the team with 28 goals and 58 points, and he has been known to torment Vancouver.

Goaltender Robin Lehner has to step up for this team, as the Golden Knights are allowing nearly three goals per game. Vegas can’t afford to try and outscore all of their opponents in the postseason. 

Canucks Get Some Revenge

It has been a rough stretch for the Vancouver Canucks, but this team is going to snap out of it at some point. Vancouver couldn’t get past the Golden Knights at home, but you can expect this team to put together a better performance in this matchup. 

There is going to be some desperation on the part of the Canucks as well, and getting on the road might actually give them some confidence. Vegas has been playing some terrific hockey of late, but this team has also struggled at times throughout the year.
