We are into Week 9 of the USFL season. This week offers some great matchups for fans to enjoy. Check out our betting previews for each game this week below.
New Jersey Generals vs. Michigan Panthers
The New Jersey Generals are dominant this season as they are 7-1 this year and are taking on the 1-7 Michigan Panthers. These teams faced off back in Week 2 and had a huge defensive showing as the Generals picked up a 10-6 win.
New Jersey has one of the best players in the sport with running back Darius Victor, as he has the league lead in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns this season. Both defenses have struggled to stop the passing game as both are allowing over 165 passing yards per game.
These offenses are solid as the Generals are scoring 22.6 points while the Panthers are averaging 19.4 points per game.
All in all, go with the Generals to cover the spread on the road and the over to hit as points should be scored at a high rate.

Houston has one of the best defensive players, with defensive end Chris Odom having 11 sacks thus far. Birmingham has one of the best punt returners in Victor Bolden Jr, as he has more than 30 punt return yards up to this point than any other player.

Philadelphia Stars vs. Pittsburgh Maulers
The Stars picked up a 30-23 victory over the Maulers earlier this season and are looking to sweep the season series.
The biggest thing is the ability of the Stars having a +7 turnover ratio, and that means a lot of things have gone their way in that department this season.
They are being led by cornerback Channing Stribling as he has six interceptions on the year, which is two more than any other player. The defenses have been extremely similar as Philadelphia is giving up 25.1 points per game while Pittsburgh is giving up 24.1 points per game this season.
Expect field goals instead of touchdowns to be scored in this game. Go with Pittsburgh getting 8.5 points in this game and the under to hit.
