USFL Week 4 Betting Picks

After an exciting Week 3, we return with another slate of USFL picks. Below are the best bets for USFL Week 4!

Philadelphia Stars vs. Michigan Panthers

Michigan is doing incredibly well as they are converting on 40.9 percent of third downs, which is the best in the USFL this season.

They are also dominating on the defensive side of things, as through three games, they are giving up 6.3 points per game.

Philadelphia is doing so well, as they are a one-dimensional offense with less than 50 rushing yards per game. Go with Michigan to cover the spread and the under to hit.

New Jersey Generals vs. Pittsburgh Maulers

This Pittsburgh team has not done well this season but should be able to score about 10 points here. Running back Darius Victor leads the league with three rushing touchdowns and should control the run game.

Whenever their defense forces punts, KaVontae Turpin should be able to return punts well as he leads the USFL with 71 yards. New Jersey also averages 373.3 yards per game, which leads the sport, so it is going to be difficult to imagine the Maulers doing well defensively and limiting some points.

Go with Pittsburgh getting 9.5 points to cover the large spread and the over to hit here.

Tampa Bay Bandits vs. Birmingham Stallions

These defenses are right there with one another as the Bandits are allowing 21 points while the Maulers are giving up 21.7 points per game. Birmingham has shown the ability to run the ball effectively, and that will mean they will score a lot of points.

However, Tampa Bay has a solid offensive team as they are still scoring 15.7 points and need to step up in this game and do incredibly well here.

Birmingham's Victor Bolden Jr is doing well returning kicks as he leads the league with 339 kick return yards thus far, but Tampa Bay is also leading with 33.3 percent of their kickoffs ending in a touchback to neutralize that.

Tampa Bay is getting 3.5 points here, so go with the Bandits to cover and the over to hit.

Houston Gamblers vs. New Orleans Breakers

The Breakers are the better team in the standings as they are second, while the Gamblers are last in the south. Quarterback Kyle Sloter has been able to sling the football all across the field as he is currently leading the USFL with 657 passing yards.

However, it is not doing well enough to find the end zone and add some extra points to the team. The major difference is going to be on the defensive side as New Orleans are allowing 14 points per game and shutting down the run game as they are giving up 108 rushing yards per game. Houston is allowing 164.3 rushing yards per game.

The Gamblers are doing extremely well offensively, but the Breakers' defense is way too good to allow them to score touchdowns. All in all, go with New Orleans to cover the 4.5 points here and the under to hit.
