USFL Week 11 Betting Picks
22 June 2022
The regular season has concluded, and now we have two games on the slate to determine which teams advance to the championship and which teams have their season end today. The matchups consist of the two teams in each division with the best record.
This should be fun as we have a rematch from last week as one of the games, and we will see some of the best players in the USFL square off against each other.
Without further ado, let’s dive into which teams we should bet to cover the spread and the over/unders.
New Jersey Generals vs. Philadelphia Stars
This will be the third time that the New Jersey Generals and the Philadelphia Stars square off this year, but none are more important than this as the winner advances to the USFL Championship Game.
The Generals have won both times, including last week, by a final score of 26-23. It’s difficult to dive into the numbers from last week’s game as this matchup was already determined, and both sides did not want to show too much of their game plan, knowing this game would happen in the playoffs.
The Generals have been the better team throughout the season as they have played the better defense. Looking at their previous nine games, New Jersey allowed 17 or fewer points in six of them, showcasing their ability to force punts and not give up too many points to take them out of the game. A huge reason is the fact that they led the sport with 63 pass deflections as a team.
The Stars have allowed 345.8 yards per game, which is the most in the league, and their defense has not been doing too pretty. However, a third time seeing a team is going to benefit the defenses as they know what is coming.
All in all, go with the Generals to cover the 4.5-point spread in this game and the under to hit.

Birmingham Stallions vs. New Orleans Breakers
This will be the third time that the Birmingham Stallions and the New Orleans Breakers face off this season, and the Stallions have been the better team head-to-head as they are 2-0 against them with a 22-13 win and a 10-9 victory.
A huge reason is having a kicker like Brandon Aubrey, who led the USFL with 76 kicking points, so they can hit field goals with regularity and not have to worry about extra points as well.
Another huge benefit is having a player like Victor Bolden Jr, who led all players with 1,209 all-purpose yards throughout the regular season, as he has been more of a swiss army knife for Birmingham.
These are two of the best defenses in terms of points per game, as Birmingham had 16.1 points per game allowed while New Orleans finished with 14.8 points per game allowed. However, both teams move the ball down the field well and are able to put up at least 20 points per game throughout the regular season.
These offenses are going to force the defenses into making enough mistakes, with the Stallions taking the advantage with the better overall team.
Birmingham should easily cover the five-point spread associated with this game, and the over should hit as points will be flying off the board.
