This is the third major of the golf season, and it tends to be the one that provides the worst scores due to the degree of difficulty involved. All of the top players in the world will be teeing it up this weekend, and there should be plenty of drama.

A Look at the Favorites
When you first take a look at the betting odds to win the US Open, two names are going to stand out as clear favorites. Those two players would be Scottie Scheffler (+600) and Jon Rahm at +900.
There are other golfers to include in the group of favorites, but it is Scheffler and Rahm that are at the top in every single event that they enter. That doesn’t mean that those two golfers win every single event, and there are other players to look at in this category as well.

Scheffler is arguably the best golfer in the world, but he hasn’t been able to finish on the biggest stage. Rahm has already picked up a win this year at the Masters, and he is going to put together four great rounds of golf again.
