While the Minnesota Twins long ago played themselves out of postseason contention, Paul Molitor's club is playing by far its best baseball right now. The last place Twins just took three of four from the first place Indians as former MVP Joe Mauer flashed his old batting stroke with a 10-for-18 (.556) effort in the series. Tonight, Mauer and the Twins will see if they can keep the hot streak going as they head to Tampa Bay to take on the Rays.
