The New York Yankees currently have a team ERA of just 2.49 this season, and they have one of their best pitchers on the mound in this game. Gerrit Cole will be taking the hill, and he will be trying to keep the ball in the park.

Cole had a rough outing in the season opener as well, giving up three earned runs in just four innings pitched. If Cole is not able to bounce back, then the offense will need to pick up the team yet again.

Anthony Rizzo and Giancarlo Stanton have led the way this season at the plate. Rizzo has two home runs and six runs batted in, and Stanton has also belted a pair of huge home runs.

New York Takes Care of Business

It may be early in the year, but there is a good chance that these teams will be battling for a division crown all season long. Both teams have already won a game in this series, but neither team has been able to break out the big bats yet.

The pitching matchup on Wednesday night is tremendous, and this could be another low-scoring game between the rivals. It’s going to take a big swing of the bat to win this game, and the Yankees will find just enough offense at home.
