The 3M Open is the next golfing event on the PGA Tour calendar, but is slightly less popular than The Open that just occurred. This is a perfect opportunity for golfers that need to compete in a slightly weaker field.
With that being said, golfers will be participating at the TPC Twin Cities course, which is a beautiful setting in Blaine, Minnesota. Below you can see which golfers have a shot to win.

Betting Overview
A handful of golfers that just competed in The Open will be available here. Since the field is a bit weaker in comparison, a few favorites are automatically in the spotlight.
This course is still fairly new, as it hosted this event back in 2019. This is a Par 71 and is just a bit over 7,400 yards. Golfers typically score in the teens here, so the winner will need to remain consistent in order to win.
Head to Head Matchup to Watch
JT Poston (-39.071) and Tony Finau (-39.811) are two golfers you should keep your eye on. Poston has flirted with a few victories this season, as well as winning the John Deere Classic with a score of -21.
Finau is a seasoned pro and is a betting favorite just about everywhere for this tournament. For the value, Poston is an excellent pick.

Golfers That Could Win
Sahith Theegala (-42.151) has an excellent opportunity to claim his first victory against a respectable field. He has landed everything within the top five results for various events this year except a win, as his putter has let him down multiple times.
With a decent performance at The Open, he is showing signs of nearly landing a win. In addition, he has remained consistent to land his last eight starts.
Tony Finau (-39.811) has all the experience in the world to get it done here. However, he has had an up and down season, making it difficult to consider him a safe pick.
Finau has landed his last 10 out of 11 starts and has five top 30 performances so far. While he is capable of dominating here, you never know exactly when he will do that.
Potential Winning Pick
JT Poston (-39.071) might be onto something here if he is able to land another victory. He is getting the hang of things and appears to be playing more confidently. While he is not necessarily great at one thing, he is good enough all around to get the job done.
Prop Picks
Top 20 Finish: Brendan Steele (+180)
Steele has made eight straight cuts with three Top 20 finishes in his last five events, including a tie for 9th at the PGA Championship and tie for 10th at the Memorial. He ranks No. 21 in greens in regulation percentage (68.94%).
Rated No. 5 in this week’s Dunkel Index, take the consistent Steele (+180) at plus money for another Top 20 finish this week.
Tournament Matchup: Sahith Theegala (-130) OVER Chez Reavie
Theegala’s breakthrough season includes nine Top 25 finishes and a tie for 2nd at Travelers Championship and tie for 5th at the Memorial. He ranks No. 61 in driving distance (304.6).
Reavie took home his 3rd Tour title last week at the Barracuda Championship. But he has also missed the cut in 10 of 24 events, including the John Deere Classic just three weeks ago. Reavie ranks No. 203 in driving distance (281.2).
With Theegala rated No. 6 in this week’s Dunkel Index and Reavie at No. 26, take the longer hitting Theegala (-130) to get the better of this matchup.
Tournament Matchup: Tony Finau (-140) OVER Maverick McNealy
Finau finished in a tie for 28th at The Open Championship. A similar finish at the PGA Championship (tie for 30th) was followed by Top 5 finishes at the Charles Schwab Challenge (tie for 4th) and RBC Canadian Open (2nd). He ranks No. 17 in greens in regulation percentage (69.36%).
McNealy has also been hot lately with a pair of Top 10 finishes at his last three events. But he also failed to make the cut at the Charles Schwab Challenge in May and Travelers Championship in June. McNealy ranks No. 68 in green in regulation percentage (67.12%).
With Finau rated No. 2 in this week’s Dunkel Index and McNealy at No. 3, these two should be near the top of the leaderboard all weekend, but take the more accurate Finau (-140) to have the edge at TPC Twin Cities.
