When the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints met in Week 3 of the 2006 season, it marked the reopening of the Superdome after serving as a shelter for victims from Hurricane Katrina. The Saints played an inspired game that night, starting with Steve Gleason's blocked punt for a TD, and went on to win, 23-3.
