The Virginia Tech Hokies got a monster year out of QB Jerod Evans last season en route to a 10-4 campaign in Justin Fuente's first year as head coach. But Evans decided to jump to the NFL in the off-season, leaving Fuente with a huge void under center. He's hoping that redshirt freshman Josh Jackson will solve the problem and will get a test tonight as the Hokies open their 2017 season against the West Virginia Mountaineers.
