TCU Horned Frogs at Kansas Jayhawks Betting Preview/Prop Pick

We have a rematch set to take place in the Big 12 Conference on Thursday night as the Kansas Jayhawks host the TCU Horned Frogs. TCU just upset Kansas on Tuesday night, but now this game will be taking place at Phog Allen Fieldhouse.

TCU comes into this game with an overall record of 19-9 on the year, but the Horned Frogs are really starting to turn it on. Back-to-back wins over ranked opponents have TCU looking like a team that can get hot during the month of March.

Kansas has now lost two straight games, and they are now just 23-6 on the year. The Jayhawks are in danger of falling out of the Top 10, and their seeding for the NCAA Tournament has taken a hit over the last week or so. 

The Kansas Jayhawks are 10.5-point betting favorites over the TCU Horned Frogs in this rematch on Thursday night.

The Horned Frogs harassed the Jayhawks all night long on Tuesday, especially in the second half. Kansas managed to score just 29 points in the final 20 minutes, and a similar defensive effort will be needed.

Kansas made eight three-pointers in the loss on Tuesday night, but they could not find any offense on the inside. The Jayhawks managed to shoot just 37 percent for the game, and they can’t afford to have another poor shooting performance.

Kansas is typically an explosive offensive team as they are averaging nearly 80 points per game. The Jayhawks want to speed up the tempo in this one, and they are usually able to overwhelm most opponents.

The defense for Kansas has to be improved as well, especially in the paint. The Jayhawks were giving up too many easy buckets to TCU in the loss on Tuesday night, and they simply have to play better.

Life on the road for Kansas has not been easy this season, but they are an entirely different team when playing at home. The Jayhawks are a completely different team at home, and they are a team that will want to get revenge in a big way.

TCU was unbelievable on the defensive end of the floor in the win over Kansas, but this team will have to score on Thursday night. The Horned Frogs are a team that is averaging just 64 points per game on the year, and this will be their downfall in this matchup.
