Texas coach Charlie Strong enters his third year in Austin firmly on the hot seat. A disappointing 5-7 record in 2015, including lopsided losses to Notre Dame and TCU, didn't help matters. Strong and the Longhorns will get a shot at redemption of sorts tonight as they welcome the Irish to Darrel K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium. It's a tall task considering the Irish have won nine of the last 11 meetings and the last time the Longhorns won in the series was the 1970 Cotton Bowl.
