The just completed series between the Orioles and Red Sox was full of rain delays, the last of which led to the cancellation of the game and the ire of Boston manager Alex Cora. Cora wasn't happy the game even started last night in Baltimore after it made it only until the second inning before the clouds opened up and forced the cancellation. The fact that Boston had a 5-0 lead and HRs by Mookie Betts, Andrew Benintendi and J.D. Martinez wiped off the books probably contributed to the bad feelings. Regardless, the Red Sox should feel pretty good about getting back to Boston tonight with a 5 1/2-game lead over the Yankees.
