The 2022 Rocket Mortgage Classic is coming up soon and will be held at the Detroit Golf Club in Michigan. This will be the fourth straight year being held at this particular golf course.
With a little bit of betting history to go by, some golfers are better off than others. Below you can see which golfers make the best case to win this weekend.

Betting Overview
Since this is the fourth time that this tournament has been held here, there are some stats to look at. Most situations have shown lower scoring outputs due to the nature of the course itself.
The front and back nine played differently, as the back has tons of trees to block straight drives. In addition, it plays relatively flat and has bentgrass for the greens. This means it rolls a little quicker than Bermuda and holds the putting line a little better.
Head to Head Matchup to Watch
Tony Finau (-33.011) and Patrick Cantlay (-33.400) are two compelling players to watch duel it out in this upcoming tournament. Finau is coming off of a victory at the 3M Open and showcased consistency that he had failed to show all season long.
Cantlay last appeared in The Open, where he came in eighth. As the fourth best golfer in the world, he has shown to be more consistent and could have a big day here.

Golfers That Could Win
Tony Finau (-33.011) finally burst through last weekend with a victory after putting up subpar results this season. Previously, he had made 10 out of his last 11 cuts and a few top 20 appearances.
Finau played excellent golf right out of the gate, which ultimately led to his dominance throughout all four days. However, this does not guarantee his success here, but he arguably has the best momentum.
Cameron Davis (-38.101) won this event last year with a score of -18. Based on his last results here, he ranked within the top 20 on all major strokes gained categories. This presents an excellent opportunity for him to repeat.
Potential Winning Pick
Patrick Cantlay (-33.400) offers one of the more complete folding packages in the field. He is currently ranked the fourth best in the world according to the rankings. Even though this is not a completely weak field, he has the best opportunity amongst players that are not as consistent.
Prop Picks
Top 20 Finish: Cameron Young (+125)
Young has been knocking on the door for his first Tour victory with three 2nd place finishes this season at The Open Championship, Well Fargo Championship and Genesis Invitational. He ranks No. 7 in driving distance (317.6) and No. 9 in birdie average (4.35).
Rated No. 5 in this week’s Dunkel Index, this could be the week Young takes home the championship trophy, but at a minimum take him (+125) at plus money for another Top 20 finish.
Tournament Matchup: Russell Henley (-115) OVER Joohyung Kim
After limiting himself to the majors in his last three events, Henley returns to a regular Tour event where he’s had 8 Top 25 finishes this season, including a 2nd at the Sony Open. He ranks No. 10 in greens in regulation percentage (69.88%) and No. 12 in birdie average (4.19).
Kim has played in only 7 events on the Tour this year, but did record his first Top 10 finish with a 3rd at the Genesis Scottish Open. While not having played enough to qualify in the rankings, Kim trails Henley in greens in regulation percentage (68.38%) and birdie average (3.69).
With Henley rated No. 6 in this week’s Dunkel Index and Kim at No. 8, take the more-experienced Henley (-115) to have the edge in this matchup.
Tournament Matchup: Mark Hubbard (-120) OVER Webb Simpson
Hubbard has made 7 straight cuts that included a 3rd place finish at the Barbasol Championship and a 4th at the Barracuda Championship. He ranks No. 12 in eagles (108.0 holes per) and No. 31 in scoring average (70.157).
The usually steady Simpson has missed the cut in three of his last four events and has just 4 Top 25 finishes in 17 starts this season. He ranks No. 25 in eagles (117.0 holes per) and No. 43 in scoring average (70.336).
With Hubbard rated No. 16 in this week’s Dunkel Index and Simpson at No. 17, take the hotter Hubbard (-120) to get the better of this matchup in Detroit.
