Just when you thought the Mets season couldn't sink any lower, Mr. Met found a way yesterday. After any ugly 7-1 loss to the Brewers, Mr. Met gave some disguntled fans the "We're No. 1" sign, causing the Mets brass to issue a public apology and fire the person inside the Mr. Met costume. Those Mets that weren't fired will take the field today as they close out the series with the Brewers at Citi Field.
