The Chicago Cubs (51-36; No. 6 in Dunkel's MLB Rankings) completed a successful 7-1 homestand over the weekend, but face a tough West Coast road trip before the All-Star break beginning with tonight's opener against San Francisco. Yesterday, the Giants (47-45; No. 16) exploded for a season-best offensive performance in a 13-8 win over the Cardinals. Pablo Sandoval - aka Kung Fu Panda -- led the way with a homer and season-high five RBI. Kyle Hendricks (5-8, 4.27) will try to cool off the SF bats, while the Giants counter with rookie Andrew Suarez (3-5, 3.92) on the mound.
