The NBA conference finals were supposed to be coronations of Cleveland and Golden State, and merely a means to setting up yet another epic final between the two powerhouses. But Boston and Houston have had other things in mind with both teams now leading their respective series, 3-games-to-2. The first of two potential elimination games for the favorites begins tonight in Cleveland as LeBron James and the Cavaliers try to hang on against the Celtics. In MLB, Brandon Nimmo reached base five times and Steven Matz pitched six strong innings as the Mets opened their series last night against the Brewers with a 5-0 win.
