The Chicago Cubs got a dose of bad news yesterday when they announced that closer Brandon Morrow would be shut down for the rest of the season. Morrow, who has been out since the All-Star break, was trying to battle back from a bone bruise in his pitching arm. His loss combined with the recent hamstring injury to fill-in closer Pedro Strop leaves manager Joe Maddon with a void in the back end of the bullpen. But that hasn't slowed the Cubs down on their road trip so far as they've taken the first two games of their series in Arizona and looking for a sweep tonight. The Cleveland Browns have been very competitive the first two weeks of the NFL season, playing Pittsburgh to a tie and losing to New Orleans on a late field goal.
