NHL Preseason/Wednesday's Picks

The Los Angeles Kings try to snap a two-game skid tonight as they continue their preseason in Anaheim against the Pacific Division-rival Ducks. Game time is 10:00 pm ET at Honda Center.

The Kings (2-3-0) have sputtered on offense while dropping back-to-back games to Vegas and Arizona by a combined score of 8-1. Last night’s 4-1 loss to the Coyotes at home came despite LA outshooting Arizona, 39-20. Gabriel Vilardi tallied a goal in the first period, but the Kings were unable to score from there.

Anaheim (2-3-0) was able to snap its own three-game skid with a 3-2 win in a shootout at San Jose on Monday. Trevor Zegras beat Sharks’ goalie James Reimer for the winning goal.
