NHL Preseason/Tuesday's Picks

The Colorado Avalanche open their NHL preseason tonight on the road against the Vegas Golden Knights. Game time is 10:00 pm ET at T-Mobile Arena.

These two teams battled to a tie in the West Division last season with 82 points apiece. The Golden Knights led the league in goal differential (+67) with the Avalanche right behind (+64).

The two teams faced each other in the second round of last year’s Western Conference postseason with the Golden Knights advancing with four straight wins after dropping the first two games of the series.

Vegas already has a preseason game under its belt after dropping the opener to San Jose, 4-2, on Sunday.
