NHL Preseason/Friday's Picks

The Calgary Flames return home following a three-game road trip to face the Winnipeg Jets as the NHL preseason continues. Game time is 9:00 pm ET at Scotiabank Saddledome.

The Flames (2-4-1) opened the road swing with a 4-1 win over the Seattle Kraken, but dropped the last two at Edmonton and Winnipeg. The 3-2 loss to the Jets on Wednesday came after Calgary had tied the score at 2-2 in the second period on goals by Glenn Gawdin and Andrew Mangiapane. Nikolaj Ehlers foiled the comeback with the game-winner for Winnipeg in the final frame.

For the Jets (2-2-1), the victory snapped a two-game skid after dropping games at Edmonton and Vancouver.
