NHL All-Star Weekend Betting Preview

We have reached the 2023 NHL All-Star Weekend, and there are going to be plenty of events taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada. Skills competitions will help set the stage, but the biggest focus is going to be on the actual tournament.

The NHL does something unique when it comes to the NHL All-Star Game as it plays a mini tournament of 3-on-3 hockey. Each division has a roster that will compete in the event, and it has created plenty of drama and excitement.

There are a couple of different ways to bet on the NHL All-Star Weekend, with the first being picking the eventual winner. If you want more opportunities to win some money, then you can look at betting on each of the first two matchups that will take place.

Odds to Win NHL All-Star Game Tournament

If you are looking to get the most value when betting on the NHL All-Star Game Tournament, then you can look at making a futures bet. Betting odds are available for all four of the divisions, and the odds look a bit different. 

The Atlantic Division is the early favorite based on the roster that has been selected. There isn’t a huge gap between all four teams, but it is the Metropolitan Division that is the biggest underdog at this point.

These betting odds are going to be open until the tournament begins, and this is your best chance at winning a lot of money. Here is a look at the current odds to win the NHL All-Star Game Tournament.

• Central Division +275
• Pacific Division +300
• Metropolitan Division +350

Pacific vs. Central

The two teams from the Western Conference appear to be pretty evenly matched, and it’s the Central Division that is a slight favorite. The odds for the Central Division are listed at -125 for this matchup, and the Pacific Division is at +105.

You could make a pretty good argument that the Pacific Division is the most talented team in this tournament, though, and they definitely have the best player. Connor McDavid has been electric on offense all season long, and the Pacific will also have the advantage of playing in front of home fans. 

The Central Division has some terrific young talent as well, and they might be the deeper team. Don’t expect to see much separation between these two teams.

Atlantic vs. Metropolitan

The two teams from the Eastern Division appear to have more separation, and that is going to be reflected in the odds for this matchup as well. The Atlantic Division is the betting favorite at -125 for this game, while the Metropolitan Division is listed at +110.

This game should feature less scoring than the matchup between Western Conference teams, and that is going to keep it more competitive. Even if the Atlantic Division has the better roster in this matchup, it’s hard to take control in a game that is low-scoring. 

This matchup might have more spread out odds than the Pacific vs. Central, but it could end up being a closer game.
