NFL Wild Card Weekend Betting Preview

We have reached NFL Wild Card weekend, and there are six games set to take place in the NFL Playoffs. There are some terrific matchups on the schedule, and you are going to find plenty of great betting options as well. 

Here is a quick look at all six of the NFL Wild Card weekend matchups, with a Dunkel pick and prediction for each game. 

Seattle Seahawks vs. San Francisco 49ers -10.0

The Wild Card Round kicks off in San Francisco as the 49ers host the Seahawks in a divisional matchup. This is a game that won’t be close for long, as San Francisco might be the best overall team in the playoff field. 

Seattle just doesn’t have enough weapons to keep this game close, and taking the 49ers at -10.0 is the play to make. 

Los Angeles Chargers -1.0 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

The 10-7 Chargers are on the road against the 9-8 Jaguars, but it is the visitors that are the favorites. Los Angeles has a loaded offense behind Justin Herbert, but the Jaguars will try to get stops with that defense. 

Jacksonville has had a terrific season as they have come out of nowhere, but they just can’t keep up. Take the Chargers -1.0 as they pick up an impressive win. 

Miami Dolphins vs. Buffalo Bills -10.5

The Dolphins head to Buffalo shorthanded on Sunday as they are expected to be without quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. This is a big problem for the Dolphins, but they are still a team that loves to compete. 

Buffalo comes into this game as one of the favorites to win the Super Bowl, but things won’t be easy in this game. The best bet to make is to take the 10.5 points, but the Bills still win by a touchdown. 

New York Giants vs. Minnesota Vikings -3.0

If you are looking for an upset in the Wild Card Round, then you should be looking in Minnesota as the Vikings host the New York Giants. Minnesota went 13-4 during the regular season, but this team still had some serious flaws along the way.

Saquon Barkley and the New York Giants can run the football effectively in this game, and they will slow down the pace. Bet on the Giants moneyline as they pick up an upset to move to the next round. 

Baltimore Ravens vs. Cincinnati Bengals -6.5

The Ravens and Bengals are set to meet up in Cincinnati, and this is going to be a battle between divisional opponents. Baltimore will try to slow the game down by running the ball, while the Bengals want to strike fast. 

The Ravens will have a game plan to keep this game close, but that’s about all they can expect in this one. Take the points and bet on Baltimore at +6.5, but the Bengals are advancing to the next round. 

Dallas Cowboys -2.5 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Cowboys were a better team than the Buccaneers during the regular season, but everything tends to change in the postseason. Dak Prescott of the Cowboys has never played great in the playoffs, while Tom Brady of the Buccaneers never seems to lose. 

If this game was played in Dallas, then the Cowboys would be the pick, but that’s not the case on Monday night. Take the Buccaneers moneyline as they advance and eliminate Dallas.
