NFL Week 9 Betting Preview

Week 9 of the NFL season is here, and there are a ton of road betting favorites this weekend from around the league. This should set up some interesting matchups and also some great betting opportunities.

Here is a look at all of the Week 9 matchups in the NFL, as well as the Dunkel pick and prediction for each game.

Philadelphia Eagles -13.0 vs. Houston Texans

The undefeated Eagles will be in Houston on Thursday Night Football for a game with a large spread. Philadelphia isn’t going to have a ton of trouble in this game, but taking the 13 points and backing the Texans is the best bet to make.

Los Angeles Chargers -3.5 vs. Atlanta Falcons

The 4-3 Chargers take on the 4-4 Falcons, and this game should be one of the better ones of the day. Both teams can really score, but it will be the Falcons that do the most damage as they pick up an impressive win on Sunday.

Miami Dolphins -5.0 vs. Chicago Bears

The Dolphins are healthy again as they travel to Chicago to take on a Bears team that suddenly looks very different. Look for the Bears to put up a ton of points in this game as they pull off the upset at home.

Carolina Panthers vs. Cincinnati Bengals -8.5

The Bengals are going through a Super Bowl hangover, and they are also missing wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase. Cincinnati just doesn’t have enough talent to make up for this loss, and it’s going to allow the Panthers to pull off the upset.

Green Bay Packers -3.0 vs. Detroit Lions

The Green Bay Packers need a win in the biggest way, and lucky for them, they have Detroit on the schedule in Week 9. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is not losing to Detroit, as the Packers will roll in this one.

Indianapolis Colts vs. New England Patriots -5.5

The Colts have made a change at QB, and they have also fired an offensive coach. The Patriots have had some offensive issues as well, but they have a couple of QB options. Indianapolis just can’t be trusted, and taking the Patriots -5.5 is the way to go.

The Bills might be the best team in the league this year, but they are running into a much better-than-average New York Jets team. Buffalo is going to win again, but you can’t give this Jets team 13 points.

Minnesota Vikings -3.5 vs. Washington Commanders

The Vikings are leading the NFC North Division, but they can’t afford to slip up. Minnesota is taking on a Commanders team that is getting better, but there are still some issues. Take the Vikings -3.5, as this game could turn into a route.

Las Vegas Raiders -1.0 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

The 2-5 Raiders visit the 2-6 Jaguars, and both teams are desperate for a win in this game. There are going to be plenty of points scored as both teams don’t provide a ton of resistance on defense. Take the Raiders -1.0, as they will have the better offense in this one.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Arizona Cardinals -1.5

NFC West rivals collide in Arizona as the Cardinals host the Seahawks. Seattle is leading the division heading into Week 9, and that won’t change as they pull off the upset over the Cardinals.

Los Angeles Rams vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers -3.0

Week 9 wraps up on Monday Night Football as the Ravens and Saints are set up for a battle. The Saints are going to win this game by two points, which actually means taking the points and the spread is the best bet to make.
