NFL Week 17 Betting Preview

We have reached Week 17 of the NFL season, meaning there are just two games left for every team in the league. This will be a very important week of NFL football, as there are still plenty of playoff races yet to be decided. 

Here is a look at all of the Week 17 matchups, with a Dunkel pick and prediction for each game. 

Dallas Cowboys -7.0 vs. Tennessee Titans

The Titans are in a complete free fall as they host the Cowboys on Thursday Night Football. Tennessee can't find any consistent offense, and that defense hasn't been able to take over games. This should be another tough night for the Titans as the Cowboys win and cover the spread. 

Cleveland Browns vs. Washington Commanders -2.5

The 6-9 Browns face the 7-7-1 Commanders, and Washington is still in the playoff race in the NFC. Don't expect a ton of offense in this game, but it will be Washington that does most of the scoring. Bet on the Commanders at home to roll to a double-digit win. 

Jacksonville Jaguars -4.0 vs. Houston Texans

The Jaguars now control their own destiny in the AFC South Division as they face an interesting challenge in Houston. The Texans have started to play much better, but they won't have the offense to keep pace in this one. Take the Jaguars -5.0 as they win this game by at least 10 points. 

Arizona Cardinals vs. Atlanta Falcons -3.5

The 4-11 Cardinals face off against the 5-10 Falcons in a relatively meaningless game down in Atlanta. It's hard to predict what team will be the most motivated in this one, but Arizona is better overall and will pull off the slight upset. 

Chicago Bears vs. Detroit Lions -5.5

The Chicago Bears appear to be in full tank mode, and they don't want to find a way to pick up a win in Detroit. The Lions need a win to give themselves an outside shot at the playoffs, and they will have little trouble getting past the Bears. 

Denver Broncos vs. Kansas City Chiefs -13.5

The Broncos have fired head coach Nathaniel Hackett after a miserable start to the year. That will give the Broncos a fresh start to the season, but facing the Chiefs isn't a good beginning. You should take the 13.5 points in this game, but the Chiefs are going to pick up the win.

Miami Dolphins vs. New England Patriots -2.5

There are always NFL lines that feel off when they are released, and that is the case with this game between Miami and New England. The Patriots are a mess on offense, and it's hard to see them staying with the Dolphins. Bet on Miami to pull off an upset in New England in Week 17.

Indianapolis Colts vs. New York Giants -3.5

The Colts have been a major disappointment this season, as they are just 4-10-1. New York is in a good spot at 8-6-1, and that rushing attack has been tough to stop. This game won't be a blowout, but the Giants do what is needed to win and cover the spread. 

New Orleans Saints vs. Philadelphia Eagles -6.5

The Eagles still need a win to lock up the top seed in the NFC, but they also want to give some players rest. Philadelphia should be able to accomplish both on Sunday, but it will keep the Saints in the game. Take the 6.5 points, but the Eagles pick up win number 14. 

Carolina Panthers vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers -3.0

The Buccaneers are leading the NFC South, but that won't be the case after Sunday. Carolina is coming on strong, and they have an offense that will have a big day in Week 17. Bet the Panthers' moneyline as they go down to Florida and stun the Buccaneers. 

San Francisco 49ers -5.0 vs. Las Vegas Raiders

The 49ers have won the NFC West Division, and they look like the favorites in the NFC. The Raiders have played better of late, but this team is still just 6-9 on the year. Take the five points and bet on Las Vegas, but the 49ers will squeak out a road win. 

New York Jets -2.5 vs. Seattle Seahawks

Mike White is back at quarterback for the Jets, and that makes all the difference in the world. New York continues to have a great defense, and that unit will take control in this game. Bet the Jets -2.5 as they win and cover the spread. 

Minnesota Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers -3.5

NFC North rivals meet in Green Bay, and both the Vikings and Packers need a win in this one. Green Bay has been on a roll of late, but they have been feasting on some bad opponents. Take the Vikings' moneyline as they win at Lambeau Field.

Los Angeles Rams vs. Los Angeles Chargers -6.5

The Rams and Chargers have had very different seasons, and this game could get out of hand in a hurry. The Chargers are going to cover this spread as they roll to a big win. 

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Baltimore Ravens -3.0

AFC North Division rivals meet on Sunday night in Baltimore, and the Ravens are hoping to make a big statement. It's been a struggle for the Steelers, and they just won't have enough offense to keep up. Bet on Baltimore -3.0 as they beat their rivals. 

Buffalo Bills -1.0 vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Week 17 of the NFL season wraps up with a massive showdown on Monday Night Football as the Bengals host the Bills. This game could be a preview of the AFC Championship Game, and the Bills will want to make a statement. Take Buffalo -1.0 as they knock off the Bengals in this matchup.
