NFL Season Rolling Along

The 2020 NFL season is more than a third over as we head into Week 7. It hasn't been smooth sailing with COVID-19 interruptions for various teams. Games have been postponed to other weeks, moved to different days, and bye weeks have been altered.

Injuries to some big-name players like Dak Prescott, Saquon Barkley, Christian McCaffrey and Michael Thomas have also plagued the first six weeks of the season.

There are still three unbeaten teams, and all have had their bye week. The Seattle Seahawks are the only 5-0 team in the NFC after the Green Bay Packers lost in Tampa Bay 38-10 on Sunday.

In the AFC, both the Pittsburgh Steelers and Tennessee Titans are 5-0 after their Week 4 game was postponed due to a Titans COVID-19 outbreak. They play this Sunday in Tennessee at 1 p.m. ET, with the Steelers favored by 2.5 points on the road.

The only team yet to win this season is the 0-6 New York Jets. Nine teams have just one win, including three of the four teams in the NFC East.

The NFC East goes head-to-head this week as the 1-5 New York Giants travel to the 1-4-1 Philadelphia Eagles (-3.5) on Thursday night, while the 1-5 Washington Football Team host the 2-4 Dallas Cowboys (-3) on Sunday.

The biggest games in Week 7 include the Seahawks (-3) at the 3-2 Arizona Cardinals on Sunday at 4 p.m. ET, the 4-2 Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-3) at the 4-2 Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday Night Football, and the 5-1 Chicago Bears at the 4-2 Los Angeles Rams (-6) on Monday Night Football.

Division Odds

In the AFC East, the 4-2 Buffalo Bills have the best odds to win the division at -190 despite losing their last two games. The Miami Dolphins (+700) head into the bye week at 3-3, while the New England Patriots (+210) are 3-2.

The Baltimore Ravens are in second place at 5-1 but are the favorites to win the AFC North at -165. The undefeated Steelers are +150, while the 4-2 Cleveland Browns are +1200.

The AFC South has just two teams over .500, with the 5-0 Titans favored to win the division at -280. The 4-2 Indianapolis Colts are +200.

The AFC West has the 5-1 Chiefs at -1000 despite losing in Week 5 to the Raiders, who are now 3-2 with +700 odds.

In the NFC, the NFC East is wide open with the 2-4 Cowboys as -105 favorites. The 1-4-1 Eagles are +140, and the 1-5 Giants are +850 after getting their first win of the season Sunday.

The NFC North had a shakeup Sunday with the Packers' loss. The 5-1 Bears have a half-game lead but are +210 to win the division with 4-1 Green Bay at -220.

The NFC South also has the second-place team with the best odds. The 3-2 New Orleans Saints are -105, and they do have a head-to-head win over the 4-2 Buccaneers, who are +105. The 3-3 Panthers are +1100 as they travel to New Orleans this week.

The NFC West is the only division in the league with every team at .500 or better. The 5-0 Seahawks are -210 to win the division, with the 4-2 Rams at +390. The 4-2 Cardinals are +700, and the 3-3 San Francisco 49ers are +950.

Overall, the Chiefs are still the Super Bowl favorites at +390, with the Ravens at +550, the Seahawks at +800, and the Packers, Saints, Steelers and Buccaneers are all at +1200.
