NFL Divisional Round Picks

After an exciting and unpredictable NFL Wild Card Weekend, we have now reached the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs. There are now just eight teams remaining, and that will set up four terrific battles throughout the weekend.

All of the home teams are the betting favorites in the Divisional Round, but that doesn’t mean that they will all come away with a win. Here is a look at the four Divisional Round Playoff games set to take place and a Dunkel pick and prediction for each. 

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Kansas City Chiefs -8.5

The Jaguars and Chiefs will kick off the Divisional Round with a matchup in Kansas City, and these two teams are in very different spots as a franchise. Jacksonville is an up-and-coming team that doesn’t have a ton of past success, while the Chiefs are a consistent Super Bowl contender. 

Jacksonville had a stunning upset over the Chargers in the Wild Card Round, but things will be a bit different on the road. Kansas City is just too explosive on offense, and they will roll to a double-digit win in this game. 

New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles -7.5

NFC East rivals meet up in Philadelphia as the Eagles host the New York Giants. These two teams just met up in the regular season finale, and the Eagles came away with a six-point win in that game.

Philadelphia is the more explosive offense in this matchup, but the Giants can really run the football. Saquon Barkley and Daniel Jones have been terrific this season on offense, and they won’t be easy for the Eagles to defend. 

Look for this to be a close game for a half, but ultimately it will be the Eagles that pick up the double-digit win to cover the spread. 

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Buffalo Bills -5.0

The Bengals and Bills have both been among the Super Bowl betting favorites all season long, and they are setting up for a massive showdown. Cincinnati comes into this game with a ton of confidence, but the Bills are going to be out to make a statement.

Both teams can really score, and that might lead you to believe that this will be a shootout. The Bills are a team that can get stops, though, and that might end up being the difference in this game. 

Take the Bills -5.0 as they are going to roll to a big win in this game. 

Dallas Cowboys vs. San Francisco 49ers -4.0

The final game of the Divisional Round will feature the Cowboys taking on the 49ers in San Francisco. These are two of the most storied franchises in the league, and there will be plenty of hype surrounding this game. 

Ultimately it is the 49ers that are simply the better overall team, and they are going to have a big day on offense in this game. San Francisco will also completely shut down the Cowboys on defense, as they will put up a low number. 

The 49ers are going to win and cover the spread.
