New York staved off elimination by winning Game 6 5-2. The Rangers entered this series as big underdogs, but they just continue to impress.

There is a ton of pressure on the Carolina Hurricanes in this game as they have not lived up to the hype. Carolina will have the advantage of playing at home, and they are 3-0 at home against the Rangers.

Rangers Have Some Weapons

This series has been very predictable up to this point, but don’t expect that trend to continue on Monday night. Home teams have won all six games so far in this series, but New York comes into this game with a ton of momentum. 

The Rangers just scored five goals in the Game 6 win, and they will get off to a big start in this Game 7. Carolina just hasn’t been as dominant in the playoffs as they were in the regular season, and they haven’t been able to flip the switch.
