New York comes off a recent win over the Charlotte Hornets and will try to carry that into today's game. However, the defense of the Heat is tough to overcome, especially when you're playing as the road team. 

The Miami Heat have had trouble on the sidelines recently, and it led to a loss to the Warriors. It's important to note that the Warriors were without Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.

New York Knicks: Looking for a win on the road

The Knicks will have to overcome one of the best defenses in the NBA in order to claim this win. The Miami Heat rank fifth in the NBA in points allowed, surrendering just 105.08 points per game.

The Knicks' offense looked great against the Hornets a few nights ago, scoring 121 points. Leading the team in that game was RJ Barrett; Barrett put up 30pts, going 10 for 19.

The defense ranks eighth in the NBA, allowing only 106.90 points per game. They'll need as much defense as they can get when they face the Miami Heat on Friday night.
