New York Giants at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Betting Preview
22 November 2021

>— Monday, November 22nd New York Giants @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The NFC East New York Giants take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night. Now, we know that some of you might not find this game too appealing, but trust us, it is.
Last week, the Giants showed they can compete with teams that are considered "better" than them. They were able to claim a 23-16 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Can they upset another team this week?
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are on a two-game skid, with losses to New Orleans and Washington. They've been the victim of an upset for two weeks in a row. What are the chances that they are upset for a third time? They come in as heavy favorites in this game.
Will they be able to cover the spread? Or is your best bet the New York Giants, led by Daniel Jones?
New York Giants Preview: Keys to a Giants victory on Monday
The Giants have been improving over the last few weeks, mainly because players are healthier. The more healthy they get, the more we'll see from the Giants. It hasn't been confirmed whether or not Saquon Barkley will play in this game, though.
If he does, that will give the Giants a much better chance at winning this game. Without him, they'll have to rely on their passing offense.
On defense, priority number one should be putting a body on Tom Brady. They can't afford to allow Tom Brady any free time in the pocket. If they do, they'll find themselves falling behind in this game very early.
They'll also need to find a way to stop Leonard Fournette, the Buccaneers leading rusher. If they can perform just a few of these tasks, they could cover the spread here.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Preview: Can the Bucs stop the skid?
It has been an uncharacteristic last few weeks for the Buccaneers. They've lost two straight games and were beaten by less than average teams. To get their season back on track, the Bucs need a win over the Giants.
This is much easier said than done, though, even with Tom Brady and all of the Bucs offensive weapons. So, what can they do to beat New York?
For starters, we'd like to see the Buccaneers get back to basics and run the football. They have one of the league's best running backs but only average 90.9 yards per game.
The Giants' defense is perfect for establishing the run against since they allow 122.56 yards per game. If the Buccaneers want to win this one, establishing dominance with the run will be vital.
Our Pick for the New York Giants at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Giants come in as +11.5 underdogs; however, we still don't think that's enough. They have a terrible rushing defense and cornerbacks that don't cover well. They're also 1-3 on the road and haven't faced a team with the offensive fire-power o the Buccaneers.
Tampa Bay knows just how badly they need a win here. They're slipping in the standings and can't lose another game in a row. We expect the Buccaneers to win this game by fifteen points and get their season back on track.
