New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys Betting Preview
23 November 2022

There are three games on the NFL schedule on Thanksgiving Day, including one huge matchup in the NFC East. The Dallas Cowboys are set to host the New York Giants, and both teams come into this game in a playoff position.
New York has been a major surprise this season, as they are coming into Week 12 with an overall record of 7-3. The Giants have lost two of their last three games, but they continue to be a tough matchup for opponents.
Dallas is coming into this game with a ton of momentum after picking up a 40-3 road win over Minnesota in Week 11. The Cowboys have improved to 7-3 on the season after picking up victories in three of their last four games.
The Dallas Cowboys are nine-point betting favorites over the New York Giants on Thanksgiving Day.
Giants Gaining Yards on the Ground
The New York Giants have one of the best rushing attacks in the NFL this season, as they have rushed for 157 yards per game. Saquon Barkley is once again one of the best in the league, as he has racked up 953 yards and six touchdowns.
Quarterback Daniel Jones has been able to help with the rushing attack for the Giants, but he has thrown for less than 200 yards per game. The Giants are going to have to hit on some big plays if they are going to win this matchup.
New York is holding opponents to just 20 points per game, but that defense is going to be tested in a big way in this game.
Dallas Dominating on Defense
The Dallas Cowboys are once again a team that is loaded with offensive weapons, but they have turned into a dominant defense. Dallas is holding opponents to less than 17 points per game this season, and they just completely shut down a great Vikings team.
Troy Pollard has filled in nicely at the running back position, and he has racked up over 700 yards per game. Quarterback Dak Prescott has had a tough season with injuries, but he has been sharp when he has been on the field.
The Cowboys are a unique team that can score points in a hurry but also find a way to win games on the defensive side of the ball.
Giants Give Cowboys Challenge in Loss
The first game between these two teams was a tight battle that ended with a 23-16 Cowboys victory. This game should play out much of the same way, but it’s Dallas that is coming into this game with the most momentum.
Dallas just has been so dominant on defense over the last few weeks, and that trend should continue in this game as well. The Giants are going to slow this game down by running the football, but they just won’t be able to find enough offense to win this game.
Take the nine points and bet on the New York Giants, but it will be the Dallas Cowboys that come away with the win in this NFC East rivalry game.
