Heading into this season, the last two college football playoffs were decided between Alabama and Clemson with the Crimson Tide taking the 2015 championship (45-40) and the Tigers returning the favor last year (35-31). Now for the third straight season, these two teams will square off in the playoff -- although this time in the semifinal round -- as Clemson and Alabama meet in the Sugar Bowl.
