NBA Summer League: Tuesday's Picks

The NBA Summer League in Las Vegas continues today with the San Antonio Spurs playing their first game without Victor Wembanyama as they face the Washington Wizards. Game time is 10:30 pm ET at Thomas & Mack Center.

After playing the first two games, the Spurs announced that Wembanyama will sit out the remainder of the Summer League schedule. He did improve in his second game against Portland as the top draft pick scored 27 points on 9-of-14 shooting with 12 rebounds and 3 blocks. However, the rest of the team struggled with the Blazers bench outscoring the Spurs 32-12 en route to an 85-80 win that dropped San Antonio’s record to 3-1 in Summer League action. The Wizards, meanwhile, improved to 1-1 with a 103-98 win over Boston on Sunday. Washington had seven players reach double figures led by Ryan Rollins’ 17 points.
