NBA Summer League: Sunday's Picks

Eastern Conference rivals Philadelphia and Brooklyn meet this afternoon as the NBA Summer League continues in Las Vegas. Game time is 3:30 pm ET at Thomas & Mack Center.

The Sixers dropped their Vegas opener yesterday to the Toronto Raptors, 97-77. Isaiah Joe had a team-high 24 points for Philadelphia in the losing effort. He was one of the few bright spots in an offense that struggled to score while converting 40.3 percent (27 of 67) from the field.

The Nets also came up short in their Vegas opener on Friday night with a 94-90 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. Offense was not Brooklyn’s problem behind Cam Thomas’ 31 points. But the defense allowed the Bucks to shoot 51.5 percent (17 of 33) from beyond the arc.
