NBA Summer League: Saturday's Picks

A pair of lottery draft picks square off against each other today as Chet Holmgren and the Oklahoma City Thunder face Jabari Smith II and the Houston Rockets at the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas. Game time is 8:00 pm ET at Thomas & Mack Center.

Smith II (10 points on 4-of-10 shooting) will be trying to improve on his debut that saw the No. 3 pick outplayed by Orlando’s Paolo Banchero in a 91-77 loss to the Magic on opening night.

Holmgren had a far different debut in Utah as the No. 2 pick had 26 points on 7-of-9 shooting while leading the Thunder to a 98-77 win over the Jazz. Overall, OKC took two of three games in the Utah session.

Dunkel has the Thunder picking up the win and covering the Vegas line of -2.5 with the final score staying UNDER the Vegas total of 169.5.
