NBA Summer League: Friday's Picks

The New Orleans Pelicans (2-1) try to keep up with the teams in first place in the Summer League as they take on the LA Lakers (1-2) tonight in Las Vegas. Game time is 11:00 pm ET at Thomas & Mack Center.

After dropping their opener to Portland, the Pels have won two straight over Atlanta and Washington by an average margin of 24 points. Deividas Sirvydis led the way in the Washington win with 25 points on 9-of-17 shooting, including 6-of-10 from beyond the arc.

The Lakers are also coming off a win over the Clippers, their first in three tries in Vegas. LA did a good job dominating the boards (44-34) and holding the Clips to 34.9 percent shooting (22-of-63) in the 83-72 victory.
