NBA Summer League: Friday's Picks

After winning two of three in California Classic Summer League, the LA Lakers open up in the Las Vegas round tonight against the Phoenix Suns. Game time is 10:00 pm ET at Thomas & Mack Center.

The Lakers beat the Heat by 34 (100-66) and Warriors by 23 (100-77) before losing on the final day in San Francisco against the Kings, 87-75. For the Suns, this will be their first summer league appearance of the off-season.

Dunkel has the Lakers picking up the win and covering the Vegas line of -4.5. An LA offense that hit the century mark twice at the Chase Center should help push the final score over the Vegas total of 170.5.
