NBA Preseason/Tuesday's Picks

There is optimism in New Orleans as the Pelicans open their preseason tonight on the road against the Bulls. Tip off is 9:30 pm ET at United Center.
Vegas has Chicago listed as a 1.5-point favorite with an over/under set at 217.5.
The Pelicans took a major step forward last year with a 36-46 mark and a pair of play-in round wins over San Antonio and the LA Clippers. The Pels were eventually eliminated by Phoenix, but not before winning a pair of games in the series. New Orleans was 17-24 on the road; 19-22 at home.
Chicago finished 6th in the Eastern Conference at 46-36 and was eliminated in the first round of the postseason by Milwaukee in five games. The Bulls were 27-14 at home and 19-22 on the road.
