NBA Preseason/Thursday's Picks

After having the opening game suspended before the start of the fourth quarter, the Memphis Grizzlies look to get their first full preseason contest in tonight as they face the Charlotte Hornets. Game time is 7:00 pm ET at Charlotte’s Spectrum Center.

The Grizz were leading their preseason opener against Milwaukee, 87-77, on Tuesday when a fire alarm caused the suspension. Ja Morant looked to be in regular season form as he collected 27 points, 4 assists and 6 rebounds in just 24 minutes of work.

The Hornets opened their preseason on the road on Monday with a 113-97 win over Oklahoma City. Reigning Rookie of the Year LaMelo Ball led the way with 15 points, 5 assists and 6 rebounds in 21 minutes.
