NBA Preseason/Friday's Picks

The Boston Celtics look to bounce back from a loss to Toronto as they face the Charlotte Hornets tonight in NBA preseason action. Tip off is 7:30 pm ET at Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC.

Vegas has Boston listed as a 9-point favorite with an over/under set at 219.5.

The Celtics (1-1) fell to the Raptors, 125-119, in OT on Wednesday. Toronto outscored Boston 38-20 in the fourth quarter to force overtime and then 15-9 in the extra session. The Celtic starters continued to get solid minutes and were led by Jaylen Brown’s 23 points.

The Hornets (0-2) have yet to be competitive in the preseason, losing both their games to Boston and Indiana by a combined 66 points. In the most recent loss to the Pacers, 122-97, Charlotte shot just 34.4% from the field.
